CM Punjab announces ‘Maryum Ko Batayen’ program

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the launch of a new welfare program titled “Maryam Ko Batayen” (Tell Maryam) for deserving individuals.

In a message on the social media platform X, she stated that the “Maryam Ko Batayen” program will officially begin from the 1st of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak.

Under this initiative, families facing financial hardship will be able to receive immediate financial assistance of up to Rs. 10,000 within 24 hours.

According to the Chief Minister, starting from the 1st of Ramadan, the “Maryam Ko Batayen” helpline 1000 will become operational. Needy individuals can call this number to apply for Rs. 10,000 in financial aid.

Additionally, those seeking assistance can submit their applications by entering their CNIC (Computerized National Identity Card) number on the web portal or mobile app.

She further explained that applicants already registered with the PSER (Punjab Social Registry) will receive financial assistance under this program within 24 hours. For unregistered individuals, verification and registration will take up to 4 days.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed her firm commitment that during the holy month of Ramadan-ul-Mubarak, government resources will be ensured to reach every deserving person, so that no eligible individual is left without support.
