QUETTA: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz arrived in Quetta on a one-day visit on Tuesday to discuss the prevailing situation in Balochistan.
Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail and provincial ministers received her at Quetta airport.
During the visit, Maryam Nawaz is scheduled to hold a one-on-one meeting with the Balochistan governor.
The two leaders are expected to discuss the current political situation in Balochistan and key provincial issues.
Maryam Nawaz will also meet Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti.
She is expected to express solidarity with families affected by recent terrorist attacks.

The Punjab chief minister will consult cabinet members on the political and administrative situation in the province.
Punjab Information Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Punjab Minister Uzma Bukhari and Punjab Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman are accompanying her.
