Turbat: A man was shot-dead by unknown assailants in Balochistan today. According to the report of new outlet, some unknown assailants killed a man in the Hirronk area of Turbat, Balochistan.
Lakmir son of Syed Mohammad, a resident of Shopik was killed by some unknown killers.
The assailant, riding on a motorcycle, shot at Lakmir on his way back to home on Friday evening in Hirronk, a place 50 km eastwards of Turbat.
The target-killers fled away after carrying out the murder incident. The police came and shifted the body to hospital.
The body will be handed over to the family after postmortem and other necessary proceedings.
An inquiry has been launched by the police to know to motive of the murder.
Apparently, the crime incident seems to be a matter of personnel enmity, however, further investigations are being carried out in this regard.
Murder incidents in the remote areas have a long history and causes are multiple.
At times, people are killed on the basis of long-lasting enmities, whereas, in many cases, some old tribal clashes lead to such horrible incidents in which people are brutally killed.
Another common reason of murder incidents also indicates to the matter of honour.
There have been hundreds of thousands of cases of honour killing for the past many decades particulary in the far areas of Balochistan.
Law-and-order and security concerns in Balochistan still remain a serious issue in Balochistan.
Once the crimes are committed, the policing and the justice system becomes another enigma which is not easily accessible to the common people.
That is the reason why the development infrastructure and the prosperity become a matter of secondary importance.
Public’s trust on the judiciary and policing systems needs to be strengthened first.
