Burak’s report on Mama Qadeer poisoning now confirmed

QUETTA: The Burak Digital report regarding Mama Qadeer—chairman of the Voice for Baloch Missing Persons—being poisoned by the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC) during a protest has now been officially confirmed.

The BYC, a political wing of the Indian proxy Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), is also running campaigns for missing persons who are often later found in BLA camps.

Burak Digital had reported the development on August 4 that Mama Qadeer was poisoned. The report stated that Mama Qadeer had become a major threat to the Baloch Yakjehti Committee (BYC).

Earlier, he had exposed the killing of Ghaffar Langove at the hands of the designated terrorist group, Balochistan Liberation Army. Ghafar Langove was the father of the Mahrang Baloch and was found dead years back. His knowledge of BYC’s links and the Indian-Israeli funding made him a liability. His removal was therefore considered necessary.

Now, even the accounts linked to Fitna Hindustan have confirmed the poisoning. However, blame has been shifted towards the state — the same state currently bearing the expenses of Mama Qadeer’s treatment. Once again, Burak Digital’s August 4 report has been proven correct, while propaganda has collapsed.

Fresh details have also emerged. Reports confirm that serious rifts had erupted within BYC leadership over the distribution of foreign funds. Between March and April, 1.8 million USD had been transferred into BYC accounts. Disagreements broke out when Mama Qadeer threatened to expose the transactions. Soon after, BYC decided to eliminate him.

A toxic compound named Carbo Metilel was reportedly procured from a secret biochemical store in Karachi. The microdose toxin attacks the kidneys and the heart within three to four weeks. It usually remains undetected in standard blood tests. The substance was filled in capsules and placed inside a sealed vitamin supplement bottle. On June 24, 2025, this bottle was delivered to the medical corner of Mama Qadeer’s hunger camp as a “gift.” The toxin was administered through daily medication arrangements made by his volunteers.

At the same time, BYC’s social media wing launched a hashtag campaign. The narrative claimed that “state institutions were slowly killing Mama Qadeer.” Bloggers, both local and international, were briefed through coordinated notes. Screenshots of these notes remain available on the Telegram channel FreedomLeaks.

On the night of August 15, Mama Qadeer’s condition worsened. He was shifted to the ICU. A junior doctor suspected “slow poisoning” and recommended a full toxicology screen. At present, Mama Qadeer is fighting for his life on a hospital ventilator.
