QUETTA: Former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, stated that the Balochistan issue cannot be resolved through force, but instead needs a comprehensive political solution.
Speaking on TV program “Baat Niklay Gi,” he stressed that the state’s authority in Balochistan is almost nonexistent, and when internal stability falters, external adversaries are quick to exploit the situation.
He emphasized that stabilizing internal affairs will automatically deter foreign interference.
Resolving the issue of missing persons must be a priority, and the government must take responsibility by reconnecting with its citizens.
He also called for a complete review of current policies to improve the province’s conditions.
Dr. Baloch further added that the crisis in Balochistan has persisted for over two decades and that young people in the province need employment opportunities.
