QUETTA: On the special directives of Secretary Excise, Taxation and Anti-Narcotics Balochistan, Mr. Syed Zafar Ali Shah Bukhari, and Director General Excise (North Zone) Quetta, Mr. Muhammad Ayub Hazara, the ETO IX Quetta team conducted a major operation against drug traffickers, resulting in the recovery of 15 kilograms of hashish.
The operation was carried out based on confidential intelligence, during which a car was seized, and one suspect was nominated in the First Information Report (FIR).
The recovered narcotics were immediately and accurately verified using the advanced handheld Raman analyzer provided by the INL (International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs).
A formal FIR has been registered, and further investigation is underway to trace and apprehend other members of the network involved in drug trafficking.

The Excise, Taxation, and Anti-Narcotics Department of Balochistan reaffirmed its commitment to making the province drug-free and stated that no negligence will be tolerated in this ongoing fight against narcotics.
