ISLAMABAD: Foreign office has said that Pakistan stands as a frontline state in the global fight against terrorism and has made significant contributions to international peace through its counter-terrorism efforts.
The spokesperson of the foreign office Shafqat Ali Khan said that the arrest of Sharifullah, the mastermind behind the Abbey Gate bombing, is a notable success in Pakistan’s ongoing anti-terror campaign.
In contrast, the investigation into the Pahalgam incident remains incomplete.
It occurred in a globally recognized disputed territory, and India’s attempt to link the incident with banned organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba contradicts ground realities.
Pakistan has taken decisive action against proscribed groups—dismantling their networks, arresting their leadership, and pursuing legal proceedings.
India continues to exploit such incidents for anti-Pakistan propaganda, aiming to divert attention from its own human rights violations.
Despite such smear campaigns, Pakistan has rendered unmatched sacrifices in the war against terrorism and played a vital role in ensuring global peace through concrete and effective measures.
Pakistan urges the international community to adopt a neutral and collective approach in combating terrorism.
