Loud Multiple Explosions heard in Nangarhar، after Paktika: Afghani Media۔

KABUL/JALALABAD – Multiple explosions have been reported in different parts of Afghanistan, with terrorist hideouts targeted in the Paktika and Nangarhar provinces, according to Afghan journalists and local sources.

Following initial reports of strikes in the Barmal district of Paktika province, fresh operations have now been reported in Nangarhar. Local sources claim that a terrorist hideout was targeted in the Khogyani district, specifically in the Koz Bihar area.

According to sources, the explosions resulted in the complete destruction of terrorist hideouts in both provinces. The infrastructure of the terrorist groups is reported to have been “completely destroyed” by the blasts.

Afghan media has not yet released any confirmed details regarding potential loss of life resulting from the operations. However, according to some local journalists, an important commander has “reached the end”—a phrase indicating that a high-value militant leader may have been killed in the strikes.

The Koz Bihar area in Khogyani is known to be a rugged and strategically significant region, often associated with militant activities. The back-to-back operations across two Afghan provinces suggest a significant blow to terrorist infrastructure in the region.

Official confirmation from Afghan authorities or Pakistani military spokespersons regarding the nature of the operations—whether airstrikes or ground actions—is still awaited. More details are expected to emerge as local sources continue to assess the aftermath of the explosions.
