MUSA KHEL: A devastating lightning strike during heavy rains in the outskirts of Musa Khel has killed 65 sheep and injured 15 others, inflicting a loss of millions of rupees on a poor herdsman, local sources said.
The incident occurred suddenly as lightning hit a herd of cattle in the area. While 65 sheep died on the spot, 15 sustained serious injuries.
The affected herdsman, left in a state of shock, broke down while speaking to the media. “Lightning has destroyed everything for me. This is my entire universe. I am now completely helpless,” he cried.
Residents of the area have strongly demanded that the Balochistan government and district administration provide immediate financial assistance to the affected man so he can resume supporting his family.
