KHUZDAR: The Levies Force has arrested five suspected smugglers and recovered a large cache of narcotics worth millions of rupees in Wadh area of Khuzdar district. According to details, the Levies Force taken action on the special orders of Deputy Commissioner Yasir Iqbal Dashti.
The raid was carried out at the Ghaslity check post by Check post Incharge Farooq Mengal and his team. During routine checking, a vehicle bearing AFU-454 registration number coming from outside the district was stopped. The Levies team found a large quantity of hashish inside the car.
Levies force arrested the five suspected smugglers. The arrested suspects were identified as Jafar Khan, Ajab Khan, Mohibullah, Asif and Najeebullah resdients of Pishin district.

While talking to media, Levies official said that drug smugglers will not be allowed to operate in Khuzdar, and the district has been declared a “no-go area” for such illegal activities. He added that strict checking, patrolling, and intelligence-based actions are ongoing to stop drug trafficking in the region.
