QUETTA: Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Raisani, the Chairman of the Balochistan Peace Forum, has stated that education is the key for the people of Balochistan to gain control over their own land and future.
He made these comments on Saturday during a ceremony where he donated books to the library of the Government Postgraduate College on Sariab Road. The books were received by the Director of Colleges and Higher Education, Professor Mohammad Hussain Baloch.
Raisani warned that the crisis in Balochistan is getting worse. He argued that the only solution is for people to reconnect with books and learning. He said that the province can only overcome its challenges if educated individuals get involved in politics and use knowledge, wisdom, and science to plan for the future.

He explained that nations that value knowledge not only control their own destiny but can also create better plans for their next generations.
Speaking directly to students, he made a distinction between getting a degree for a job and seeking education for the broader purpose of national dignity and self-reliance. He strongly emphasized, “If the people of Balochistan seek control over their homeland, they must gain knowledge.”
