QUETTA: Advisor for Sports, Balochistan, Meena Majeed Baloch, along with Lahore Qalandars CEO Atif Rana and international players Zaman Khan and Mohammad Naeem, visited the cricket and football grounds of the University of Balochistan in Quetta.
During the visit, they interacted warmly with students and players, taking selfies and engaging in friendly conversation.
Speaking on the occasion, Meena Majeed Baloch stated that Balochistan is a land of peace and hospitality, and the people of the province greatly value their guests.
She added that the presence of the Lahore Qalandars CEO, management, and players at the University of Balochistan will help portray a positive and peaceful image of Balochistan to the world.
She emphasized that the current government is committed to promoting healthy activities for youth and is utilizing all available platforms to empower them.
The recent visit by Lahore Qalandars to Quetta, she said, is a shining example of this initiative.
It is worth mentioning that the Balochistan government is taking all necessary measures to enhance sports among youth. Recently an important decision has been taken that young player from Balochistan will be included in the Kashmir Supreme League.
