Lahore Qalandars set to face Quetta Gladiators in HBL PSL 10 final

LAHORE: Lahore Qalandars to face Quetta Gladiators in the final after defeating Islamabad United by 95 runs in the second eliminator of HBL PSL 10.

The second eliminator of HBL PSL 10 was played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Islamabad United team failed to achieve the target and was bowled out for 107 runs in the 16th over.

The main scorers for Islamabad United was Salman Agha who made 33, captain Shadab Khan 26, Jamie Neesham 8, Imad Wasim 8, van der Dussen 7, Tymal Mills 7, Haider Ali 4, Sahibzada Farhan 3 while Naseem Shah and Muhammad Shahzad were out without scoring any runs.

For Qalandars, captain Shaheen Shah Afridi, Salman Mirza and Rashad Hussain took 3 wickets each.

Earlier, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 202 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs.

For Qalandars, Kushal Perera was the standout with 61 runs. Mohammad Naeem made 50, Abdullah Shafiq 25, Bhanuka Rajapaksa 22, Asif Ali 15, Fakhar Zaman 12 while Shakib Al Hasan was dismissed without scoring any runs.

The final between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators will be played on Sunday, May 25, at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
