Killing of Fareed Khan Tareen: How Terrorists targets Balochistan’s future generation

QILA ABDULLAH: The Khawarij — a term used for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Taliban terrorists — are now attacking educated youth and the future of Pakistan in Balochistan.

On Sunday, a powerful blast hit Gulistan Bazaar in Qila Abdullah. The explosion killed at least four people and injured over 20 others.

Among the martyrs was Fareed Khan Tareen, a bright graduate of Government College University Lahore. He symbolised the future of Pakistan — educated, visionary, and full of promise.

By killing young leaders like Fareed, the Khawarij are striking at Pakistan’s core. They aim to spread fear and destroy the country’s intellectual strength. These attacks are not random; they serve the agenda of foreign powers that want to destabilise Pakistan.

Deputy Commissioner Riaz Khan confirmed the fatalities. He said the injured were taken to nearby healthcare centers. Due to limited medical facilities, many seriously wounded victims were shifted to Quetta for treatment.
