QUETTA: Two people have lost their lives in Balochistan in separate incidents whereas the security forces have arrested two armed persons. According to the police,
According to police, a man was found yesterday near Zandeen in the jurisdiction of Srikoran Police Station, Panjgur, with bullet wounds on his body.
The body was shifted to a hospital where he was identified as Sami.
After completing the necessary legal procedures, the body was handed over to his family, while further investigation is being carried out by the local administration.
Separately, in the Orki area of Uthal, unidentified assailants opened fire and killed a man. Police confirmed that the victim, identified as Abbas, a resident of Kalat, was taken to a hospital. Following legal formalities, his body was also handed over to his heirs.
The local authorities are pursuing the case further.
Meanwhile, in the outskirts of Khuzdar, the Levies Force arrested two suspects and recovered a submachine gun (SMG) from their possession.
Acting on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar, Yasir Iqbal Dashti, and Assistant Commissioner Khuzdar, Hafeezullah Kakar, the Levies carried out a raid in the Pir Umar area, leading to the arrest of two suspects, identified as Shabbir Ahmed son of Sultan Muhammad and Bashir Ahmed son of Khan Muhammad, both residents of Pir Umar.
The successful operation was conducted under the supervision of Levies Line Officer Noor Ahmed Zehri and Muharrir Riaz Ahmed, with assistance from the CIA Levies team.
