Fitna Al Khwarij staged women’s abuse ploy to evade legal action in Panjgur

QUETTA: An alleged incident involving the detention and torture of women by security forces in the Panjgur district has been exposed as a fabricated propaganda campaign, according to official findings.

An investigation into the claims has revealed that the drama was staged by associates of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Known as Fitna Al Khwarij to defame state institutions and generate public sympathy.

Security sources confirmed that the central female figure in the allegation is closely linked to the militant group, with her son and brother being active members. Officials reported that the brother, who was subsequently arrested, confessed during interrogation to planning attacks against security forces from the same residence for the past five months.

The investigation concludes that the injuries sustained by the women were inflicted by their own Khawarij associates with the explicit purpose of creating a false narrative and evading legal action.

Security forces have reiterated their role as guarantors of public safety and condemned what they describe as a malicious attempt to undermine their credibility and disrupt law and order.
