Taliban have become India’s proxy: Khwaja Asif

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Defence Minister Khwaja Asif has said that Taliban have become the Indian proxy now.

While talking to a TV program, the Defence Minister said that the Indian stooges are lying in the way India did and got beaten.

He said that a few friends of Pakistan wanted negotiation that is why we opted talks. We also offered them a framework on visa but we withdrew that offer as soon as the war erupted.

The Defence minister said that the Taliban and the Afghan Taliban have similar thought and vision.

He said that Afghanistan claims that they have captured one of our tanks.

However, Pakistan does not have any such tank like the one they claim.

He further said the at the moment, there is a 48 hours-ceasefire, but I do not believe that they will hold on to that ceasefire.

If Afghanistan violates the ceasefire, Pakistan has no option but to launch more attacks.

It is worth mention that earlier this morning, Afghanistan security forces launched more attacks on the border areas of Balochistan.

However, the armed forces of Pakistan gave a befitting response and launched attacks on the militants’ havens in Kabul and Qandhar killing many terrorists and took the control of the Gharnali post on the border in the Chaman area.

Pakistan killed some 20 Taliban militants.

Pakistan has a clear stance that Afghanistan needs to eliminate the Indian-sponsored militant hideouts on its territory.

The terror group from the Afghanistan’s soil are launching attacks in KP and Balochistan.

If the militants continue to attack, the armed forces of Pakistan will launch more attacks deep inside Afghanistan’s territory.

The armed forces have vowed their resolve that any militancy on Pakistani soil will not be tolerated and the militants and their handlers will be taught a good lesson for creating provocation and unrest.
