Security Forces Foil Khawarij Infiltration Attempt at Pak-Afghan Border in Orakzai

ORAKZAI: Security forces successfully foiled a cross-border infiltration attempt by terrorists from Afghanistan near the Orakzai district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Officials said militants associated with Fitna Al Khawarij (FAK), linked to TTP, tried to enter Pakistan in the Wachapala area.

Acting on real-time intelligence, troops set up a tactical ambush at the targeted location and killed three Khawarij.

A fierce gunfight broke out between the militants and security personnel.

The forces eliminated five FAK terrorists. Three to four militants were seriously injured.

Authorities said the operation prevented a potential threat to national security and blocked cross-border movement.

The operation highlighted the preparedness, vigilance, and operational efficiency of security forces in sensitive border areas.

Officials said Pakistan’s security institutions remain committed to combating extremist elements, dismantling their networks, and protecting civilians in border regions.
