ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has praised US President Donald Trump played a commendable and decisive role in recent tensions between Pakistan and India.
While talking to local news channel, Defense Minister said that it is very commendable that President Trump is playing a positive role in the world conflicts, adding that US president is also looking for a solution to the Ukraine problem. Trump is also active in the issues of Iran, Ukraine and Gaza.
Regarding the PAF’s brilliant performance in the Pakistan and India tensions, Khawaja Asif said that the international media and the aviation industry have confirmed that Indian planes were shot down. The Pakistan Air Force has even told how the Indian fighter jet was shot down. The $250-300 million Indian plane was wrecked by the $30 million plane of the PAF.

Khawaja Asif said that positive changes are being seen in our region at the military and diplomatic levels. Indian cannot unilaterally suspend the Indus Waters Treaty.
