PPP or PML-N never crossed redline: Khwaja Asif

Islamabad: Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has said that PTI members pay extortion money to the Taliban.

In his statement, he said that the actions carried out by PTI are of the kind only an enemy would commit, and no other political party can be compared with them.

He added that he had long been warning that PTI was operating under a planned agenda.

Khawaja Asif stated that although his own party has criticized the military in the past, they never crossed the red lines.

According to him, the deteriorating situation in the country over recent years is directly due to PTI’s actions.

He further said that PTI has never condemned anti-Pakistan statements made by any of its leaders.

Neither PPP nor PML-N ever resorted to actions like those of May 9. Nawaz Sharif was removed from office three times, yet he did not cross the red line.

He gave interviews to Indian media but never spoke against Pakistan’s integrity.

Khawaja Asif also said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister is not fighting the war against terrorism.

He stated that the conversation of the PTI founder’s sister with Indian media has become the final nail in the coffin.

He added that whatever is happening on social media is taking place with PTI’s consent.

He concluded by saying that despite Zulfikar Bhutto being executed and Benazir Bhutto being assassinated, the PPP never reached out to India for support.
