Turbat – Preparations for the Kech Gala are in full swing, with a cleanliness campaign launched at the Cultural Center on the instructions of Turbat Mayor Balkh Sher Qazi.
Personally overseeing the arrangements, the mayor reviewed the performance of the teams and directed them to ensure complete cleanliness ahead of the event.
The cultural and literary gala will be held in September with the support of Kech Deputy Commissioner Basheer Ahmed Badaich.
The Turbat Municipal Corporation is also playing an active role in managing and organizing this historic event.
The upcoming Kech Gala in Turbat is set to become a vibrant reflection of Balochistan’s diverse heritage, offering a unique platform where history, culture, literature, and art converge.
The event will highlight the province’s centuries-old traditions, from folk music and dance to the storytelling practices deeply rooted in Baloch history.
Visitors will experience the richness of Balochi poetry and literature, with special sessions dedicated to the works of renowned writers and poets who have shaped the region’s intellectual identity.
Art exhibitions will display the creativity of local craftsmen, showcasing traditional embroidery, handicrafts, and painting that capture the spirit of Baloch culture.
The gala also emphasizes the historical significance of Kech and its surrounding areas, once centers of trade, learning, and cultural exchange.
