Karachi-bound train narrowly escapes bomb blast in Sibi

QUETTA: A Karachi-bound train narrowly escaped an improvised explosive device (IED) attack on the railway track near the Damboli area of Sibi district in Balochistan on Thursday.

According to the station master, the Bolan Mail, en route from Karachi to Quetta, was targeted in the explosion. Coach number 7 of the Bolan Mail sustained partial damage.

Railway officials stated that the clearance operation on the track heading towards Quetta is currently underway. Once the process is complete, the Bolan Mail will resume its journey to Quetta.
