KARACHI: The head of the Judicial Commission established in Karachi, Justice Agha Faisal, has summoned six individuals who narrowly escaped from Gul Plaza during the recent incident that drew widespread public attention.
In this sense, all six individuals have been directed to appear before the commission on February 25. The move signals a crucial phase in the inquiry, as authorities seek to document firsthand accounts to piece together the sequence of events.
Those summoned include Muhammad Shehzad, a resident of Orangi Town; Syed Abdullah from Gulshan-e-Iqbal; and Muhammad Junaid of Usmanabad.
In addition, Ayan from New Karachi, Fahad from DHA, and Ali Haider, a resident of Saddar, have also been instructed to present themselves before the commission.
They focused on that statements from affected individuals will be carefully reviewed to determine responsibility and ensure that accountability is established in accordance with the law.
The commission’s proceedings are expected to provide further insight into operational lapses, response measures, and the sequence of developments on the day of the incident.
