QUETTA: Provincial Minister for Health Balochistan Bakht Muhammad Kakar has said that the tribal jirga held for establishing lasting peace in Balochistan is a positive and historic development.
Kakar said that the participation of Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal General Asim Munir and Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has increased the importance and significance of this jirga.
He further said that establishing lasting peace in Balochistan is the top priority of state institutions, and this jirga is an effective step for promoting tribal traditions, mutual consultation and trustful dialogue, which guarantees a bright future for the province and its people.
The incumbent provincial government is not only actively working for the provision of health, education and basic facilities, but is also keeping the establishment of law and order among its top priorities, Kakar said.
