QUETTA: Provincial Health Minister Balochistan, Bakht Muhammad Kakar chaired an important high-level meeting, to review the flood situation in the province and coordinate ongoing medical relief efforts, on Sunday.
According to details, Secretary Health Balochistan Mujeeb ur Rehman, Director General Health Dr. Amin Mandokhail, and senior officials from MSD, MNCH, Nutrition, Public Health, PDSRU, EPI, and Balochistan Health Management Information System (BHMIS) attended the meeting.
Representatives from key partner organizations including PDMA, PPHI, WHO, UNICEF, MERC, and others also participated in the session. A detailed briefing was given on the impact of the recent monsoon rains, flood-affected areas, immediate medical needs, and the availability of health resources.

District Health Officers (DHOs) and Medical Superintendents (MS) from severely affected districts such as Dera Murad Jamali and Usta Muhammad joined the meeting virtually to provide ground reports from their respective regions.
