QUETTA: Maulana Abdul Wasi, the leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) in Balochistan, has launched a sharp criticism against the provincial government, holding its “poor policies” responsible for a deteriorating law and order situation, economic stagnation, and administrative problems.
In a strongly-worded statement, the senator declared that the current government lacks the ability and vision to run the province. He claimed it has no effective policy or strategy to solve the ongoing crises.
“The image of Balochistan that the government is presenting to the world is far from reality,” Maulana Abdul Wasi said, asserting a significant gap between the government’s narrative and the actual situation on the ground.
He positioned the JUI as the only party that understands the province’s realities, calling it the “largest popular and majority party in Balochistan.” He expressed regret that power has been given to people with “zero public acceptance” who cannot solve the province’s problems.
The JUI leader concluded by clarifying that his party would “not play the role of a silent spectator,” signaling a more aggressive political opposition.
