KHUZDAR: Serious allegations of land grabbing and extortion have been leveled by Shabbir Baloch against workers of Balochistan NAtional Party MNP Akhtar Mengal in the Khuzdar area.
The claims were made by journalist Shabbir Baloch during a recent appearance on the Burak Baloch podcast. Baloch accused Mengal’s supporters of seizing land from poor local residents, actions he described as contrary to promises of working for Balochistan’s development.
Furthermore, Baloch claimed that despite some of Mengal’s workers historically speaking against Pakistan, they were treated well and provided services by the state. He also stated that the government had previously warned all political parties to avoid certain types of gatherings, suggesting that those who proceeded despite the warning are responsible for the consequences.
The claims made in the podcast are serious and have not yet been independently verified. There has been no immediate public response from Akhtar Mengal or his party regarding these allegations.
