RAWALPINDI: The joint-military drills between Pakistan and Suadi Arabia have come to an end.
According to the ISPR, The Special Services Group of the Pakistani Army and the Operation Teams of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia took part in the military drills.
The military drills were held from 18th to 26th November in Tabuk. The military drills were given the name of Al-Bataar-II.
The ending ceremony of the military drills were held in the Tabuk city of Saudi Arabia.
The drills were carried out aiming anti-terrorism and operations in the Urban areas.
During the drills, the professional skills and the practical capabilities were demonstrated.
The operations regarding the anti-terrorism and disposing off the explosives were launched during the drills.
The ISPR has said that the drills will consolidate the defence and the strategic ties between the two countries.
Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) maintain a long-standing and strategic military partnership, rooted in shared regional security interests and historical ties.
Their cooperation spans multiple areas, including joint military exercises, training programs for armed forces personnel, defense technology transfers, and sharing of intelligence related to security threats.
Both nations also work closely in counter-terrorism efforts, border security, and strategic planning for regional stability.
Air force, navy, and army coordination is regularly enhanced through joint drills and operational planning, while Pakistan has also provided advisory and technical support to modernize Saudi Arabia’s military infrastructure.
Beyond operational collaboration, defense diplomacy between the two countries includes high-level visits, defense agreements, and participation in regional security forums.
This multi-faceted cooperation not only strengthens bilateral defense ties but also contributes to regional peace, stability, and mutual trust between the two countries’ armed forces.
Such collaboration aiming to counter the militancy can lead both countries to safety and stability keeping in view the challenges for law-and-order and peace erupting on the global level.
