WASHINGTON: A former CIA counterterrorism officer John Kiriakou has made a shocking disclosure about Imran Khan’s ‘anti-America Narrative’ after the No-Confidence Motion back in 2021.
Kiriakou, who is the former Station Chief of the Counter Terrorism Station has revealed that the former prime minister of Pakistan and the founder of PTI Imran Khan had pre-informed the U.S officials that he was about to carry out a ‘blame-game against’ the Americans as a political stunt in Pakistan.
Kiriakou has disclosed that Imran Khan met the U.S ambassador in Islamabad and had shared with him his plan of alleging the U.S officials for backing the No Confidence motion against his government.
Imran Khan acquired the guarantee from the U.S officials in this regard that no proceedings will be carried out against him.
The U.S Establishment took Imran Khan’s move on a positive note.
The former CIA officer further said that the Pakistani generals also denied American recommendations about Imran Khan.
Kiriakou alleged that Imran Khan sought protection from the Americans.
The U.S Establishment asked Jemima to talk to the Pakistani officials but her call was also turned down in Pakistan.
The former CIA officer has claimed that the General-ranked officers of Pakistani Army do not pay head to the instructions given by the United States.
It is worth mentioning that after being pushed out of the government through a No Confidence Motion , the former prime minister Imran Khan had put forth a letter claiming it to be an cypher sent by the US government ordering to elimination Imran Khan-led government in Pakistan.
He categorically named some U.S officials and the officer of Pakistan’s armed forces alleging them of carrying out the plot of wrapping up his government.
He further called the caretaker government of PDM ‘an imported government’.
During his speeches, he chanted the slogans of turning down the slavery of the U.S state.
The die-hard supporters and the activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf stood firm with the claims and the allegations made by Imran Khan against the U.S involvement in the diplomatic affair in Pakistan.
To add more to it, Imran Khan is a distinguished political figure in the Pakistani politics who is renowned for launching some extremely provocative narratives in his speeches.
Even the opposition confesses that the narratives drawn by Imran Khan have more impact than any other political notable in Pakistan as his enthusiastic followers blindly believe them without any counter-check or raising critical questions over them.
