ISLAMABAD: Leader of Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) and MPA Balochistan Mualana Hidayat-ur-Rehman has announced to end the “Haq Do Balochistan” march after the successful talks with the government, on Friday.
According to details, the federal government and Jamaat-e-Islami has agreed on an agreement and form a joint committee to resolve the problems of Balochistan. During a joint press conference in Islamabad, Jamaat-i-Islami members along with Muslim League leaders have announced to end the long march in Lahore itself.
During the press conference, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman, the head of the Haq Do Balochistan said that we have started our march on July 25, with our 8-point demands, aiming to convey our words, sorrow and pain.
JI leader said that they wanted to present the problems faced by the people of Balochistan before the federal government, adding that we have placed our demands before the federal government and government heard our demands of restoring peace, end of chaos in the Balochistan. He further said that we are political workers struggling under the law of the state and are not with those forces that adopt an undemocratic attitude.
While announcing the end of the ongoing sit-in in Lahore, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman, the head of the Haq Do Balochistan said that now we are not coming to Islamabad, we will end the sit-in tomorrow. Senior leader of Jamaat-e-Islami Liaquat Baloch said that everything ends with negotiations. He said that this long march has sent a message to the entire nation that the people of Balochistan love the state, and the constitution, law, democracy.
On the occasion, Advisor to Prime Minister, Rana Sanaullah said that a committee is being formed to address the problems faced by the people of Balochistan and their solutions. Rana Sanaullah said that 8 demands were discussed in the meeting with the Jamaat-e-Islami delegation. An agreement has been reached between the two parties, according to which a committee will be formed after consultation with the Prime Minister. The committee will include representatives of the federal and Balochistan governments, provincial opposition parties, members of the Haq Do Balochistan and law enforcement agencies who have made sacrifices for peace and order in the province.

He further said that the committee will be formed to address the problems faced by the people of Balochistan. It will not only highlight all those problems and difficulties but also formulate actionable suggestions on them, which will make it possible to solve the problems of the province by following them. He said that the Government of Pakistan is trying to solve the problems of Balochistan, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif wants the problems of the people of Balochistan to be solved.
