Quetta – The provincial head of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Balochistan, Maulana Abdul Wasay, has officially announced the termination of party membership of provincial assembly member Mir Zabid Reki due to serious violations of party discipline and policy.
According to details, Mir Zabid Reki went against the party’s official stance by presenting the Mines and Minerals Bill in the Balochistan Assembly, a move considered a direct contradiction of JUI’s policy.
In addition, during the budget session, Reki publicly showed support for the Chief Minister of Balochistan by presenting him with a garland — a gesture that was seen as politically inappropriate and contrary to the party’s position.
Maulana Abdul Wasay emphasized that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam is an ideological party that makes decisions based on consultation and strict party discipline. No member is allowed to act out of personal interest or display conduct that deviates from the collective stance of the party.
He further stated that there is no room in JUI for individuals who defy party policy, and the expulsion of Mir Zabid Reki is a reflection of the party’s commitment to its principles.
