QUETTA: Railway services in Balochistan resumed on Thursday after a one-day suspension, officials said.
The suspension affected trains traveling to Peshawar and Karachi. Railway authorities said the Jafar Express and Bolan Mail departed from Sibi as scheduled.
Passengers from both trains were provided carriages from the Chaman Express to reach Sibi, officials added. From Sibi, travelers continued to their respective destinations.
Railway authorities assured that services would continue without interruption.
Yesterday, Pakistan Railways has suspended the Jafar Express from Quetta to Peshawar today due to security concerns, officials said.
