Islamabad: The Foreign Office declared that Israel’s strike on Qatar is a violation of international law, stressing that the people of Pakistan stand firmly with their Qatari brothers.
In a press briefing, the Foreign Office spokesperson said Pakistan strongly denounces Israeli atrocities in Gaza and seeks a resolution to the Palestinian conflict in accordance with United Nations resolutions.
He added that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid an emergency visit to Qatar to condemn Israeli aggression, reiterating that Pakistan stands alongside the Qatari nation.
He emphasized that the attack on Qatar contravenes international law and revealed that, at the request of Pakistan and Somalia, an emergency meeting was convened.
The spokesperson noted that Pakistan’s response to Israel’s assault on Qatar is unequivocal:
Pakistan condemns the attack, expresses full solidarity with Qatar, and remains a responsible nation with complete defensive capabilities. He warned that any act of misadventure would be met with a strong reply.
The Foreign Office further reported that Kazakhstan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister recently visited Pakistan, where both countries discussed a range of bilateral matters.
Addressing questions on immigration, the spokesperson clarified that every country formulates its own policies regarding undocumented individuals.

He added that the United Kingdom has not placed Pakistan on any such list and highlighted that multiple agreements exist between Pakistan and the UK.
