RAWALPINDI: The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced the successful completion of its Summer Internship Program 2025, which is recognized as Pakistan’s largest student internship initiative.
The six-week-long program engaged more than 6,500 students from 33 cities, representing over 150 public and private universities and colleges across the country. The internship was designed to provide young students with a unique opportunity to gain professional exposure, practical learning, and firsthand insight into the role and responsibilities of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
Furthermore, throughout the program, participants attended a series of interactive sessions with prominent national figures from various fields, enabling them to broaden their perspectives on national security, leadership, and professional excellence. In addition, the students were taken on study visits to key military institutions, including the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) Pabbi, and the Pakistan Ordnance Factory (POF) Wah.
In this sense, an important highlight of the internship was a dedicated interactive session with the Director General ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry. In his address, the DG ISPR mentioned the Armed Forces’ professional ethos, national service, and the importance of youth engagement in nation-building.
Moreover, students expressed their appreciation for the internship, describing it as an eye-opening experience that enhanced their professional skills and gave them a deeper sense of patriotism and civic responsibility.
