ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar will travel to Saudi Arabia on Wednesday for a two-day official visit, officials said.
Dar will visit Riyadh from March 18 to 19 at the invitation of the Saudi Foreign Minister to attend the meeting of foreign ministers of the regional bloc.
During the meeting, he will reaffirm Pakistan’s full support for regional stability, sovereignty, and political freedom. He will call for an immediate end to all attacks on regional territories.
Dar will emphasize Pakistan’s commitment to the swift resolution of ongoing disputes. He will underline that dialogue and diplomacy remain the most effective tools for conflict resolution.
The foreign minister will also highlight Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts and its readiness to play an active role in resolving the severe security challenges facing the region.
