TEHRAN: Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a warning regarding United States military bases located in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The IRGC indicated that the increasing military and political tensions in the region have heightened concerns about the presence of American forces.
The statement suggested that US military installations in the UAE may be viewed as legitimate targets if the current situation escalates further.
In this regard, Iranian officials also advised Emirati citizens to stay away from areas surrounding American military facilities and bases.
The IRGC focused on that the growing regional instability has intensified security concerns for Iran.
Iranian officials strongly criticized the United States, accusing it of repeatedly violating international laws and norms. They described Washington as a “rebellious actor” that frequently disregards international regulations and contributes to instability in the region.
Iran further warned that any attempt to harm its national interests or security would be met with a firm and decisive response. The statement underlined that Tehran is prepared to defend its sovereignty and strategic interests if challenged.
Meanwhile, the international community is closely monitoring developments, with concerns growing over the possibility of increased confrontation between Iran and the United States.
