ISLAMABAD: An Iranian delegation, led by Parliament Speaker Baqir Qalibaf, has arrived in Islamabad for talks with US officials, according to Iranian authorities.
The delegation includes specialized committees covering security, political, military, economic, and legal affairs, which will discuss various aspects of bilateral and regional issues. Iranian officials confirmed that the purpose of the visit is to hold discussions with American representatives on Pakistani soil.
The development comes amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions and find common ground between Tehran and Washington, with Pakistan playing the role of a facilitator.
