ISLAMABAD: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmed Al-Malkiy, has praised Pakistan’s peacemaking efforts to reduce tensions in the Middle East as a result of the Iran War.
In an important video message, the KSA envoy highlighted Pakistan’s effective foreign policy amid the Iran-Israel conflict, emphasising the country’s growing role as a responsible and influential player in regional stability.
The United States and Iran are engaged in indirect talks using Islamabad as an intermediary, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to promoting peace and stability in the region.
Earlier on Wednesday, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman spoke to Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a day after Pakistan offered to mediate between the US and Iran to ease the conflict.

The Prime Minister briefed Mohammed bin Salman on Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions in the Middle East, condemned recent Iranian attacks on the Kingdom, and reaffirmed Islamabad’s support for Riyadh, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement.
