TEHRAN: Iran has issued a grave warning of an imminent and large-scale military response against Israel, signaling a dramatic escalation in Middle Eastern tensions. Iran’s Supreme National Security Council declared, “Tonight will be turned into day for Israel,” suggesting a significant and coordinated strike is on the horizon.
As per the verified sources of Iranian State Media, Tehran is preparing to target critical Israeli military and intelligence infrastructure, with particular focus on the Ramat David Airbase near Haifa.
Furthermore, Iran’s military reported that it had successfully shot down an Israeli F-35 fighter jet over the northwestern city of Tabriz using its advanced air defense systems.
The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have not publicly confirmed the reported downing of the F-35. However, authorities have initiated civilian evacuations in several areas, particularly near sensitive defense installations, as a precautionary measure against potential missile or drone attacks.
Meanwhile, Iran’s ambassador to the United Nations submitted an official letter to the UN Security Council, asserting that the Islamic Republic’s actions are defensive. The letter focused on that Tehran’s operations are “proportional strikes” targeting Israeli military and strategic sites in response to recent Israeli aggression.
