ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has appreciated the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Police for conducting a successful counter-terrorism operation in Kohat.
In this regard, the police intercepted the terrorist during a targeted operation, foiling their attempt to carry out subversive activities in the region. The encounter turned into an intense exchange of fire, during which Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Ashfaq got martyrdom.
In this regard, the Interior Minister commended the professionalism and quick response of the KP Police, focusing on the fact that their timely action not only neutralized the terrorists but also safeguarded countless innocent lives.
In such a case, Naqvi showed condolences to the grieved family. He prayed that Allah Almighty grant them courage and patience to bear the irreparable loss. Furthermore, the minister underlined that the sacrifices of law enforcement agencies would never be forgotten and that the nation stood united in its resolve to eradicate terrorism from the country.
Moreover, the continuous struggle of the KP Police against terrorism, Naqvi stressed that security forces have always faced extremist elements with resilience and valor.
