Intelligence-based operation leads to safe recovery of missing youth Mohsin Baloch

QUETTA: The security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation and successfully recovered Mohsin Baloch, a youth who went missing from Quetta on August 3. The operation ended in a brief but decisive raid in the desert area of Tamp in Kech district.

According to sources, Mohsin Baloch was recovered safely late at night during the operation. The forces also recovered weapons, communication devices, and movement maps from the location. After an initial medical examination, Mohsin was handed over to his family. The local police and levies will have to continue the follow-up investigation of the case.

It is note worthy that Mohsin Baloch had disappeared from the suburban commercial zone of Quetta on the evening of August 3. Upon a report by his family, the concerned police station and Levies were informed, and an immediate alert was issued to the 4-C authority.

Through analysis of CCTV footage, a suspicious movement of a double-cabin vehicle was identified leaving Quetta late at night via the N-25 highway towards Surab. The next day, cell site location data and Call Detail Records (CDR) from phone handsets linked to the vehicle indicated movement along the N-85 corridor, near Basima, Panjgur, and Hoshab.
