QUETTA: The tensions between Pakistan and India have escalated dramatically following revelations that India, through its proxy militant outfits, Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and Balochistan Liberation Front (BLF), has intensified terrorist activities inside Balochistan.
In this regard, as per the verified sources, India has been actively funding and arming Baloch insurgents in an attempt to destabilize the region, particularly targeting the multi-billion-dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Furthermore, the attack in Surab, Balochistan, which claimed the life of ADC Buledi, is being directly linked to Indian-sponsored militants. In such a scenario, investigations suggest that Indian intelligence agencies provided logistical support and coordinated with BLA operatives to execute the attack.
Meanwhile, the situation in Balochistan remains volatile. There are certain security analysts warn that India’s covert war via militant proxies threatens not just national sovereignty but also the safety of everyday citizens in the province.
