India to launch air drills near Pakistan’s border

LAHORE: India has declared major aerial drills by its air force in the Kutch area of Gujarat, close to the Pakistani border.

The Indian Air Force has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), reserving designated airspace for these exercises and closing it to international flights from January 20 to 21.

According to Indian media reports, the drills will feature frontline fighter jets including Rafale, Sukhoi-30 MKI, Jaguar, and others, involving high-speed flights, air combat training, and potentially live firing or bombing practice.

Reports further indicate that the restricted airspace covers a sensitive zone along India’s southern border with Pakistan, encompassing the Arabian Sea, Sir Creek, areas near Rajkot, and Ahmedabad.

It is worth mentioning that India has been show-casing hostility and provocation for the past one decade.

On the basis of so-called Pulwama and Pahalgham attacks, India alleged Pakistan and launched military attacks on Pakistani territory.

However, Pakistan gave a befitting response twice to the Indian armed forces.

Pakistani Air Forces downed the aircrafts of IAF on both occasions and brought a massive damage to the Indian military weapons too.

In May 2025, India launched massive military attacks on Pakistani territory killing nearly 40 innocent civilians.

However, Pakistan wrapped up the war within four hours forcing India to rush to beg for a ceasefire.

Seven aircrafts of the Indian Air Force were downed by Pakistan.

The S-400 missile storage was also destroyed in the counter-attack by Pakistan.

Pakistan’s swift and accurate response has been acknowledge and admired globally.

Indian government is outrageous after sighting the global embarrassment and now intends to get some face-saving by using such tactics.
