MANAMA: Bahrain’s intelligence agencies arrested an Indian telecom engineer for providing sensitive data to Israel’s Mossad secret agency.
Bahraini authorities detained Indian citizen Nitin Mohan, a telecommunications engineer.
He transmitted sensitive geospatial data, photographs, and videos of strategic locations for reconnaissance purposes to Mossad, Israel’s external intelligence agency.
He shared images of sites and operationally relevant information that supports foreign intelligence analysis and target assessments.
Bahrain’s Ministry of Interior confirmed the arrest, but no further technical or investigative details have been released so far.
