Security Forces Kill 41 Indian-Backed Terrorists in Operations in Balochistan

RAWALPINDI: Pakistani security forces killed 41 terrorists linked to Indian proxies Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan in two separate operations in Balochistan on Thursday.

In Harnai District, intelligence-led troops targeted a reported Fitna al Khwarij hideout. During a heavy firefight, 30 militants were killed. Authorities recovered and destroyed a large cache of ammunition and explosives on site.

In Panjgur District, forces raided a terrorist hideout, killing 11 Fitna al Hindustan operatives. Weapons, ammunition, and looted cash from a December 15 bank robbery were seized. The militants were reportedly involved in multiple past attacks.

Security forces continue to conduct clearance operations to eliminate any remaining foreign-backed militants. The nationwide counterterrorism campaign, operating under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” strategy approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, remains ongoing.
