DALBANDIN: Armed terrorists believed to be associated with the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) launched a fresh attack in Dalbandin, setting multiple LPG-loaded vehicles on fire near Karod Patik, a strategic route in Balochistan’s Chagai district.
According to local sources, heavily armed individuals established illegal checkpoints in the area, conducting snap checks on passing vehicles. The attackers reportedly intercepted commercial trucks transporting liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and then torched them, causing intense flames and widespread panic among nearby residents and travellers.
Security forces promptly responded and launched a terrorism operation, forcing the terrorists to flee the area.
The Indian proxies BLA, BLF, and BRA are targeting infrastructure and economic assets linked to the state, particularly those related to energy transport, Chinese-backed projects, and regional trade routes.
In recent months, militant activity in western Balochistan has increased, with insurgents using remote mountainous terrain to mount ambushes and escape counterterrorism operations.
Authorities have launched a search operation in and around Karod Patik to locate the perpetrators.
