ISLAMABAD: The security officials and independent analysts have raised concerns over an increasingly misleading propaganda campaign orchestrated by the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) in collaboration with certain hostile Indian networks.
The campaigns, largely dependent on fabricated videos and digitally altered images, are being circulated on social media platforms in an attempt to mislead the public and create unrest. In this sense, recent materials attributed to the BLA have been identified as staged productions, with video content showing rehearsed scenarios and images edited to present a distorted narrative.
So far, the security officials focused on the fact that these propaganda efforts are part of a broader strategy aimed at undermining stability in Balochistan and discrediting Pakistan at the international level.
The government has reasserted its determination to counter misinformation through fact-based communication and technological monitoring.
Furthermore, the observers believe the decline in BLA’s physical presence on the ground, coupled with the exposure of its reliance on staged propaganda, signals a turning point.
