India backs terrorism in Balochistan and KP: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

NEW YORK: In a press conference held in New York, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari strongly criticized India’s involvement in terrorist activities in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, stating that such actions are destabilizing the region.

He emphasized that the Kashmir dispute has no military solution and warned that both Pakistan and India, being nuclear-armed states, had once come dangerously close to war.

According to him, dialogue remains the only viable path to peace between the two nations.

Bilawal pointed out that India is attempting to impose a new regional order, drawing parallels between India’s approach and that of Israel, particularly in their handling of occupied territories. He accused India of trying to alter the demographic structure of Kashmir, which he described as a serious violation of international norms. The policies of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he claimed, pose the greatest threat to regional peace.

Referring to recent escalations, he said tensions had risen rapidly, showing how volatile the situation is. He reminded the global community that the United Nations has promised the people of Kashmir the right to self-determination, yet India’s actions continue to threaten peace and security in South Asia. He also revealed that India had used Israeli drones during its aggression against Pakistan, indicating a dangerous alliance and militarization.

While reiterating Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, he asserted that peace cannot come through imposed conditions. He condemned India’s continuous anti-Pakistan rhetoric and accused it of severe human rights violations. Moreover, he criticized India for blocking water flows, which he said is a blatant breach of international treaties. Finally, he condemned the Indian government’s efforts to distort and suppress the identity of Muslims within India itself.
