Imran Khan’s fate lies with courts, not deals: Rana Sana

Militants in Balochistan Are Enemies of the State: Rana Sanaullah

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister’s Advisor on Political Affairs, Rana Sanaullah, has firmly denied reports suggesting that a deal was offered to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), clarifying that neither the government nor the establishment has engaged in any such negotiations with the party’s founder, Imran Khan.

Speaking on Geo News’ program Jirga, Sanaullah dismissed the possibility of a political settlement, stating that the option of a deal is “off the table.” He emphasized that the legal process will take its course, and Imran Khan’s punishment, if any, will be decided by the courts.

“PTI has neither been offered a deal, nor is the option of a deal on the table,” Sanaullah asserted. “Imran Khan has not been offered a deal by the government or the establishment, and will not be. His fate will be decided in the courts, just as happened in the past with Nawaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari.”

The advisor’s remarks come in response to recent claims by PTI regarding alleged negotiations. Sanaullah also addressed a clarification issued by PTI the previous day concerning their rejection of a supposed deal offer.

Confirming that he had met with the PTI founder, Sanaullah did not delve into the specifics of their conversation but used the opportunity to reiterate the government’s stance that all political matters are being handled within the legal and constitutional framework.
