IGP Balochistan vows to protect lives, property as top priority

IGP Muhammad Tahir says Saftey of lives, properties top priorty

QUETTA: The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Balochistan, Muhammad Tahir, has stated that protecting the lives and property of citizens is the government’s top priority.

He made these remarks during a visit to the Balochistan Constabulary (BC) Headquarters at Badar Line in Quetta on Tuesday. IGP Tahir was given a detailed briefing on the department’s operations by Additional IGP and Commandant of the Balochistan Constabulary, Agha Muhammad Yousaf.

The IGP praised the BC force, acknowledging its “important role in maintaining law and order” throughout the province. He specifically promised that the problems faced by the youth within the constabulary would be resolved “at their doorsteps.”

The meeting was attended by Deputy Commandant Shad Ibn Masih and other senior officers, with zonal commanders from across Balochistan joining via video link.

In his address, Commandant Agha Muhammad Yousaf stated that the officers and youth of the BC are always ready for duty and consider establishing peace their main mission. He highlighted the bravery and sacrifices of the force’s members in the fight against terrorism, noting that the BC is a dedicated reserve force working for peace across all of Balochistan.
